I'm pinning this up tonight, and will be quilting it this weekend, because it has to be to Intown Quilters down in Atlanta before the 26th. I'm sort of stuck on how to quilt it, though. Any ideas?
I love the ovals in the fabric so how about a background filler of ovals. The white starts could use a lime green thread perhaps quilted 1/4 inch in from seams. Either that or Ovals all over the quilt in either lime green or orange. You'll have to keep us posted as to what you actually do! LOL!

ReplyDeleteIt's stunning. I am seeing BIG circles, spirals on each set of 4 (white centre)
ReplyDeleteThis is just lovely ... I think you've just inspired me for a solids idea ... thank you!! I love how striking it is ...
ReplyDeleteWhat about straight lines? I'm thinking running parallel to the angle of each point on the stars rather than the edge of the quilt.
ReplyDeleteoh I love quiltmania's suggestions - ovals would look cool and the green thread on the white would look stunning! It's beautiful :)
